Return & Refund Policy

At Machinebay.in, we strive to supply quality commercial kitchen equipment and machinery. Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before placing an order.

1. No Return Policy

All products sold through Machinebay.in are considered final sales. Once a product has been sold and dispatched, it cannot be returned or exchanged unless it meets the conditions stated in this policy.

2. Wrong, Damaged, or Defective Products

If you receive a product that is:

  • Incorrect (different from what was ordered),
  • Damaged during transit, or
  • Defective upon delivery,

you must notify Machinebay.in within 48 hours of receiving the shipment.

To process your request, please provide:

  • Order number or Invoice number
  • Photos and videos clearly showing the issue
  • Images of the product packaging and shipping label

Failure to report the issue within 48 hours may result in rejection of the claim.

3. Return Eligibility

A return request will only be considered if:

  • The wrong product was delivered by Machinebay.in.
  • The product has a verified manufacturing defect.
  • The product arrived with significant transit damage that is reported within the required time frame.

Machinebay.in reserves the right to inspect the product before approving any return or replacement.

4. Refund Policy

Refunds will only be processed if:

  • Machinebay.in is unable to provide a replacement for an approved claim.
  • The order is cancelled by Machinebay.in before dispatch.
  • A refund has been specifically approved by Machinebay.in management.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method or by bank transfer within 7–10 business days after approval.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds or returns will not be accepted in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after purchase.
  • Incorrect product ordered by the customer.
  • Products damaged due to improper installation, misuse, negligence, or unauthorized repairs.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Claims reported after 48 hours from the date of delivery.
  • Delay in transportation or courier services beyond the company's control.

6. Shipping Charges

  • Shipping and transportation charges are non-refundable.
  • GST and other applicable taxes are non-refundable unless required by law.
  • If a return is approved due to an error on the part of Machinebay.in, the company will determine the responsibility for return shipping costs.

7. Warranty

Most machinery supplied by Machinebay.in includes a 6-month service warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery.

Warranty conditions:

  • Warranty is valid only with the original GST invoice.
  • Warranty covers manufacturing defects only.
  • Service is provided only at the company's service center or premises unless otherwise specified.
  • Customers are responsible for transporting the machine to and from the service location unless agreed otherwise.
  • Lifetime paid service and spare parts support are available, subject to spare part availability.

8. Order Cancellation

  • Orders may be cancelled before dispatch, subject to approval by Machinebay.in.
  • Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation requests cannot be accepted.

9. Limitation of Liability

Machinebay.in shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of the products or delays caused by transport companies, natural disasters, strikes, or events beyond the company's control.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of the purchase of products from Machinebay.in shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
